A seminar and open house on the prevention and treatment of Lyme, EEE and West Nile diseases on Saturday, March 25, 2006 from 2pm to 6pm at Wells High School, Route 109, Wells, Maine. Snow date is Saturday, April 1, 2006. Six guest speakers and more than a dozen exhibitors will present a wide spectrum of information to the community on protection, prevention and treatment of these diseases.

Bob Maurais from Mainely Ticks will open the speaker series at 2:15pm. Terry Walters, LaValley Lumber Licensed Maine Forester, Charles Lubelczyk, Field Biologist, Maine Medical Center, Dr. Robert Gholson, Maine State Public Health Veterinarian, and Shawn Mullen, Bayer Products Entomologist, will follow. The final speaker at 5:15 pm will be Dr. Teresa Caprio, DO, who specializes in neuromusculoskeletal medicine, Lyme disease and other tick borne illnesses.
Exhibitors will have educational information, program information and products on display from 2pm to 6pm.
